My take

Trust My Heart was truly a joy to read. I couldn’t wait for my lunch breaks and work commutes, just so I could keep reading and find out what was going to happen next!

The Agents of Shield fan in me couldn’t help but mentally cast AoS‘s Grant Ward as Trust My Heart‘s Grant McAllister … I’m sure due to the same name. (What can I say? After 3 seasons of Brett Dalton in a role that evokes strong emotion … it was inevitable, I suppose!)

Quote from Trust My Heart

Trust My Heart merits multiple re-reads – not only for the plot, but also Carol Post’s beautiful way with words. She paints vivid pictures in the mind; her characters are complex, believable, and laugh-out-loud funny; and she challenges the reader to make their faith their own. I highly recommend Trust My Heart for both guys and gals; while, yes, the story is a romance, it’s not the “light, fluffy” romance so many novels feature of late. This one has a unique depth and reality I wish more romances had – both real and fiction.

Disclaimer: I received a free copy of the book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

About the author

Carol J. Post

Author biography via Amazon.com.

From medical secretary to court reporter to property manager to owner of a special events decorating company, Carol’s resume reads as if she doesn’t know what she wants to be when she grows up. But one thing that has remained constant through the years is her love for writing. She currently pens fun and fast-paced inspirational romance and romantic suspense stories. Her books have been nominated for a RITA® award and an RT Reviewers’ Choice Best Book Award.

Carol lives in sunshiny Central Florida with her husband, who is her own real-life hero, and writes her stories under the shade of the huge oaks in her yard. Besides writing, she works alongside her music minister husband singing and playing the piano. She enjoys sailing, hiking, camping—almost anything outdoors. Her two grown daughters and grandkids live too far away for her liking, so she now pours all that nurturing into taking care of a fat and sassy black cat and a highly spoiled dachshund.
